Introduction
To update your MX records with this Domain Name System (DNS) provider, first understand MX records.
Steps
- Log in to your account at https://aws.amazon.com/console/ by entering your username and Password.
- Go to your DNS records ( Under AWS Services, click Route 53. If you can't find Route 53, look under Networking & Content Delivery. Click Hosted zones. Select the domain you want to set up with @Emailforward. Go to record sets.
- First, delete the current MX records that send mail to your old email provider. After that you'll add new MX records for @Emailforward.mx.
- To direct your email to your @Emailforward.mx account, you have to add new MX records to your domain. These are the records that you need to add: mx1.emailforwardmx.com with Priority 10 and mx2.emailforwardmx.com. with Priority 20
- Click save.
