Introduction

To update your MX records with this Domain Name System (DNS) provider, first understand MX records.

Steps

  1. Log in to your account at https://cloud.digitalocean.com/login by entering your username and Password.  
  2. Go to your DNS records on the networking page ( please consult: https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/networking/dns/how-to/manage-records/)
  3. First, delete the current MX records that send mail to your old email provider. After that you'll add new MX records for @Emailforward.mx.
  4. To direct your email to your @Emailforward.mx account, you have to add new MX records to your domain. These are the records that you need to add: mx1.emailforwardmx.com with Priority 10 and mx2.emailforwardmx.com. with Priority 20
  5. Click save.
