Introduction
To update your MX records with this Domain Name System (DNS) provider, first understand MX records.
Steps
- Log in to your account at http://www.domainexplorer.net/.
- Go to your DNS records (Open the My Domain page and select the domain you'd like to use with @Emailforward.From the Email Settings section, click Change service and select the entry titled User (mail server name required) and finally go to the Mail Host Records Setup section.)
- First, delete the current MX records that send mail to your old email provider. After that you'll add new MX records for @Emailforward.mx.
- To direct your email to your @Emailforward.mx account, you have to add new MX records to your domain. These are the records that you need to add: mx1.emailforwardmx.com with Priority 10 and mx2.emailforwardmx.com. with Priority 20
- Click save.
