Email forwarding with Domain Explorer

Introduction

To update your MX records with this Domain Name System (DNS) provider, first understand MX records.

Steps

  1. Log in to your account at http://www.domainexplorer.net/.
  2. Go to your DNS records (Open the My Domain page and select the domain you'd like to use with @Emailforward.From the Email Settings section, click Change service and select the entry titled User (mail server name required) and finally go to the Mail Host Records Setup section.)
  3. First, delete the current MX records that send mail to your old email provider. After that you'll add new MX records for @Emailforward.mx.
  4. To direct your email to your @Emailforward.mx account, you have to add new MX records to your domain. These are the records that you need to add: mx1.emailforwardmx.com with Priority 10 and mx2.emailforwardmx.com. with Priority 20
  5. Click save.
