Introduction
To update your MX records with this Domain Name System (DNS) provider, first understand MX records.
Steps
- Log in to your account at https://console.cloud.google.com/.
- Go to your DNS records (Either open an existing DNS zone or click Create zone to create a new one. If you don't have any existing MX records in this zone, click Add record set. If you have existing MX records in the zone that you want to change to @Emailforward MX records, click Edit.)
- First, delete the current MX records that send mail to your old email provider. After that you'll add new MX records for @Emailforward.mx.
- To direct your email to your @Emailforward.mx account, you have to add new MX records to your domain. These are the records that you need to add: mx1.emailforwardmx.com with Priority 10 and mx2.emailforwardmx.com. with Priority 20
- Click save.
