Introduction
To update your MX records with this Domain Name System (DNS) provider, first understand MX records.
Steps
- Log in to your account at https://www.name.com/ by clicking Log in at the top.
- Go to your DNS records (Click Control Panel at the top. Then, click the domain name that you want to set up with @Emailforward. Finally, under the Domain Registrant Details seciton, click DNS Settings.)
- First, delete the current MX records that send mail to your old email provider. After that you'll add new MX records for @Emailforward.mx.
- To direct your email to your @Emailforward.mx account, you have to add new MX records to your domain. These are the records that you need to add: mx1.emailforwardmx.com with Priority 10 and mx2.emailforwardmx.com. with Priority 20
- Click save.
