Introduction
To update your MX records with this Domain Name System (DNS) provider, first understand MX records.
Steps
- NIC (including Nic.mx, Nic.pe, Nic.ar, etc.)is not a domain host, so it is not possible to verify your domain or change MX records within NIC. First, identify your domain host and sign into your hosting provider.
- Go to your DNS records.
- First, delete the current MX records that send mail to your old email provider. After that you'll add new MX records for @Emailforward.mx.
- To direct your email to your @Emailforward.mx account, you have to add new MX records to your domain. These are the records that you need to add: mx1.emailforwardmx.com with Priority 10 and mx2.emailforwardmx.com. with Priority 20
- Click save.
